Last evening was probably the best evening i have ever had in my life so far. We had to meet at city Center, salt lake to celebrate Soup's birthday. Oh let me introduce the charecters first....
Tatha- a real geek, master in Linux, the greatest connoisseur of food(his tummy will tell you more about this..). I had to catch him up at jadavpur.
sandy- a falmboyant(??) , a potential entrepreneur(in food business!!) and ofcourse the most colourful person in our class..
soup- Full name- sauparna...the most sensible person in our group...and the best part was he paid the bill.
and last but not the least RONNIE...who couldn't turn up as usual...but made us feel his cold presence like a vampire.
As the dusk was falling the waterfront was looking very romantic(don't forget the contributions of the couples sitting over there.) we sat on the stairs, staring at the people passing by.The food at KFC followed by a feedback form was not worth for money and the quantity didn't make us happy either, but the aroma of the coffee made tatha mad...a hot sip of the coffee and the waterfront made me nostalgic..suddenly it was taking us down the memory lane, our early days at college, our first meetings and all.
The cold winter waves were telling us that it was probably the last winter evening we were spending together, three rapid questions from Soup and some valuable feedbacks were like the the canto we were writting together....Those stairs, the waterfront, the KFC...everything will be there, except those moments we spent together.....
The CAT score card made me a bit depressed, but my friends remind me the words of the Alchemist-
"When you want something all the universe conspires in helping you to achive it. So, never stop dreaming"

Ok the bad things first
1. You seem to be least bothered about the conventions followed in writing proper and common nouns - the former starts with an uppercase letter. Quite irritating to see my name written in small letters!
2. "charecters" ?
3. Linux -> GNU/Linux, I aint no kernel hacker, but you are B.Tech CS ... should be enough!
4. "As the dusk was falling" - is not sounding good.
Now the good things -
If two or three books and one outing did this to your writing, I wonder with whom we should be communicating after few months of "The Saturday Club" I was proposing. The description could have been a bit more detailed. If you blended the winter breeze and the aroma of the coffee with a few more words about the ludic display of light - it would have made the read visually vibrant. The mood of the post was just right! I loved the post and am awaiting new ones...
P.S.
If Sauparna or Sandy is reading this ...or may be Sid, could any of you open up a flickr account ...so that all the pictures are at one place and we dont have to post them individually to our blog ... I have a script that'll pull the pictures to the blog.
And I'm so glad to be called a "real geek" ... and I love what Soup gets "most sensible person"! hihhihi ....
ya i could make it more detailed, but I thought it would be a bit long....so I just cut it short. and that proper noun thing..I'll take care of that..
